My 6 Most Anticipated July 2021 Releases

Hello, everyone! I cannot believe it is already time to start looking forward to anticipated releases for July. But it is that time! Here are my top 6 most anticipated releases for July 2021 that I will definitely be adding to my shelves:

#6Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim

Release Date: July 6, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.47 out of 5 Stars

What Caught My Eye: The cover made me add this to my TBR. It is stunning. It also seems to be a story full of magic, political scheming, and fairy-tale vibes. So, it’s definitely on my list.

#5The Taking of Jake Livingston by Ryan Douglass

Release Date: July 13, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.20 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: I wanted to read this the second I saw the cover. Then I read the synopsis, and I definitely cannot pass it up. It seems to be a story that takes on some dark topic matter (bullying, microagressions, school shooting, abuse, etc.) via a ghost story, which sounds totally cool.

#4She Who Became the Sun by Shelley Parker-Chan

Release Date: July 20, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.28 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: I’ve seen a lot of great things about this book on Twitter and other blogs. I requested it from NetGalley, but didn’t get approved. I’ve been patiently waiting for the release date to be able to pick it up, and it is almost here!

#3Star Wars: The High Republic: Out of the Shadows by Justina Ireland

Release Date: July 27, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 3.87 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: I’m excited about this entry in the High Republic multimedia crossover because it has two of my favorite characters so far from these stories, Reath Silas and Vernestra Rwoh. I’m looking forward to seeing what they get up to next!

#2Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell

Release Date: July 6, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.59 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: I loved the first two books in this series and cannot wait to see how it all ends for Simon and Baz. I’m hoping they get the happily ever after I’m so desperately wanting for them.

#1Flash Fire by TJ Klune

Release Date: July 13, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.45 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: I’m so grateful to have gotten the ARC for this book. It was absolutely fantastic, and I cannot wait to get a copy for my shelves that I can re-read over and over. See my review here!

So, there you have it! My six most anticipated books of July 2021. Are any of these on your TBR? What July 2021 releases are you most excited about? Let me know in the comments!
