This has been a roller coaster of a month. Between my health stuff and hurricanes, I’m actually astounded at all I got done. I loved participating in Trope-ical Readathon and was actually on track to complete all the challenges before the hurricane drama of the past few days. My partner and I have been housing some of her family, who evacuated for hurricane Ida, which made it difficult to focus on reading these last few days of the month. I’m grateful to have been able to help them and be a safe place for them to go, but I’m also looking forward to things getting a little more back to normal again. I’ve made significant progress on my annual reading challenge and read a lot of great books this month, which you’ll see below.

Trope-ical Readathon

Unfortunately, I didn’t quite complete my Trope-ical Readathon TBR, but I did finish 14 out of the 16 challenges. I swapped some of the books as the month went on, as well, but I read most of the books I initially set out to read. Final Thoughts

Looking back on my TBR for August, I met a lot of my goals. I finished reading most of the books on my TBR, but I am a little disappointed I wasn’t able to finish them all. I got some new ARCs I’m really excited about, but managed to mostly maintain my NetGalley feedback ratio. Overall, I liked what I read this month and have had a lot of fun with the books and posts I was able to do. I have enjoyed participating in the Trope-ical Readathon, and I will probably participate again in the future.
