First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?

Goodreads Synopsis

Thoughts & Comments

I just watched the trailer for the show based on this book, which is coming out in a couple weeks. It looks so good! I’m so excited about it, and I wanted to spotlight the book. I love this book. It is probably one of my favorite science fiction works, along with Asimov’s robot stories. If you haven’t read it, check it out!
