Book Haul – April 2022

All of my motivation to keep book buying to a minimum disappeared this month, which you’ll see below. I went a bit overboard. I actually think I bought more books this month than the first three months of 2022 combined…and that’s not counting the ARCs and library loans. To make matters worse, I’m officially out of shelf space. So, I have no where to put the new books other than a giant stack. I really wish we had bought the house with all the nice built-ins in the library. It would make my book addiction a lot easier to accommodate. Oh well.

Are any of these books on your TBR? Have you read any of them? If so, let me know in the comments!

  1. I have Daughter of Midwinter on my TBR too. The Blood Trials was good but I couldn’t get on with City of Ash. Hope that you enjoy it more. Happy Reading!

  2. Oh I´m jealous that you are already able to read Babel!
I loved Gallant, really enjoyed Empire of Sand, and just got my copy of Fevered Star as well!

    • I’m really looking forward to Babel! I feel kind of bad because it will be a bit before I can get to it, but I’m still really excited about it. I loved Gallant too! I’ve heard great things about Empire of Sand from several people now… so I’m looking forward to it. I got it on sale for super cheap and just couldn’t pass it up!

  3. Oh nooooo, that’s such a good haul, but I totally get the desire to NOT haul so much!! I enjoyed Empire of Sand, I hope you do too! I’ve been curious about Daughter of Red Winter, but I’m trying very, VERY hard not to request any more things for a bit….we’ll see how long that lasts lol.

    • I wasn’t planning to request Daughter of Red Winter either, but they emailed it to me. How could I say no? Lol. I’m trying to avoid NetGalley for a bit, but it’s so hard. All that being said, I’m excited about every single one of these books… I’ll get to them all eventually.
