What did you read last?
I’m going to keep this week’s update much shorter than usual because I feel like death. I got my second COVID booster yesterday, and it has me feeling pretty awful. On the bright side, this was a much better reading week than last week. All three of the books I finished were five star reads!
What was my favorite of the week? I loved all three of these, but Daughter of Redwinter slightly edges out the others.
What are you currently reading?
I’ve been listening to Juniper & Thorn while doing chores, and I’m enjoying it so far. Reid is really great at creating dark fairy tale vibes with her writing, and it instantly transported me to this world.
What will you read next?
I really need to read the ARCs of The Daughter of Doctor Moreau and Silk Fire. So, they will probably be next.

Juniper & Thorn is soooooo dark. Good, but omg dark. I hope you like it!!
It is super dark, but I’m enjoying it so far. I just really love Reid’s prose and the vibes it gives. I enjoyed her first book too for that reason even though the plot was a bit meh.

Yeah. This week was quite the opposite of last week. I really loved all three of the books. Juniper & Thorn is definitely much darker than Reid’s first book, but it is good so far.
