Book Haul – January 2023

January was a really great start to the year in regards to book acquisitions. I relied on the library a surprising amount, but I also purchased quite a bit because so many books were still 50% off a B&N. In total, I spent $143 on books in January, not counting book boxes. Luckily, I was lighter than usual on the ARCs. Maybe I’m beginning to learn a little self control? Probably not. lol. Although, now that I’ve been auto-approved by Orbit on NetGalley, the real test begins. Without further ado, here is everything I got my hands on last month:

Electronic ARCs

Digital Purchases (Audiobooks & ebooks)

Physical Purchases

Library Books

Are any of these books on your TBR? Have you read any of them? If so, let me know in the comments!

  1. WHAT A GREAT HAUL, wow! Lets see, I have Hell Bent, and The Secret Lives of Country Gentleman on my TBR. I also have an ARC of Perilous Times, and I just finished buddy reading Prospect Hill by Leslie and Julie. Spoiler alert – we weren’t fans.

    • Oh no. That’s a bummer about Prospect Hill. I almost didn’t request that one. Now I’m wondering if it was a mistake to do so… I’m really looking forward to Perilous Times! I love Arthurian stuff, and it sounds really great.

  2. Great haul! I have some of these as well: The Fairy Bargains of Prospect Hill, Perilous Times, Spare, and a few others. I surprised myself and bought a lot of books in January, which I chalk up to my bad mood at the end of the month. Gotta love retail therapy. It didn’t help my backlog challenge, but it made me happy haha.
