Book Haul – March 2023

This month was absolutely bonkers for book acquisitions. My Book Outlet order arrived, and it was so heavy I could barely lift the box. lol. Gotta love those great sales. I also went a bit wild on Pango, but I also sold a couple things on there… So, it evens out right? (No. It really doesn’t, especially since I bought way more than I sold.) All of my library holds arrived at the same time, as usual. On the bright side, I’ve already read and returned all the library books in this post. Yay me! 🙂 So, the books aren’t getting added to my ever-expanding TBR. Luckily, this was a pretty quiet ARC month, as well. My self control in that regard is still holding pretty steady. Fingers crossed that continues because the last thing I need right now is to add a new stack of ARCs to the mix.

ARCs

Digital Purchases (Audiobooks & ebooks)

Physical Purchases

Library Books

Are any of these books on your TBR? Have you read any of them? If so, let me know in the comments!

  1. That’s a lot of books (it’s so nice to treat yourself)! 😍 I’m also impressed that you read all the library books you’ve mentioned because that’s *a lot* of books too, haha! I do recall seeing a few of the reviews you wrote for them in your weekly wrap-ups and I’ve added a few to my TBR as well. I hope you continue enjoying all the books you haven’t read yet!

    • Yay! I’m glad I could help add some more to your TBR. 🙂 Last month was crazy busy on the reading front. I cannot believe I finished all those library books either. As for the purchases, Book Outlet and Pango are horrible for my bank account.

  2. That’s a really impressive book haul for one month. I love the Outlet delivery which has some brilliant books in it. I loved Vespertine especially. Modesitt has always been one of my auto buy authors but I didn’t really enjoy Isolate and I haven’t bothered to get the next one yet. I’ll be interested to hear what you think when you get round to reading them.

    • I’m really looking forward to Vespertine. I loved Sorcery of Thorns, and it’s the same author. So, I couldn’t pass it up. 🙂 I’ve never read anything by Modesitt before, but it looked interesting. They had them both for $6. So, I figured why not. Lol

  3. Wow, that’s a lot of books, but I feel you. If I could live off of books, I would spend my life in a bookstore instead of running grocery errands. 😂

Through the Illumicrate box I received The Lies We Sing to the Sea on Tuesday. Also, Violet Made of Thorns and Legendbornare on my TBR.

How did you enjoy Daisy Jones & The Six? I was fascinated by it, when it came out and back then I hoped the band would have really existed, just to listen to their songs. I haven’t checked out the series yet, because I don’t want to be disappointed by it.

  4. I definitely have some of these books in my TBR: Jade Fire Gold (bought a while ago, oops!), Lies We Sing to the Sea, Vespertine, Legendborn, and quite a few more. That’s a nice haul you have for March! I’m always impressed by the number of your book acquistions, but I know you read faster than I can, so again, I have confidence you’ll be able to get through a lot of these sooner rather than later haha.

I have Forged By Blood in my ARC list, too. August is absolutely stacked and if I want to stay sane I probably should tackle some of them in the next couple of months, eek.

    • Yeah. This month was a lot mostly because of Book Outlet, Pango purchases, and library holds. Who knows when I’ll actually get to all the ones I bought. Lol. I read fast… but not that fast.

I have intentionally been avoiding NetGalley. Lol. I think I only have two for August so far, and I’m hoping to keep it that way.

  5. This is such an amazing haul!! I haven’t had a big haul in a while and now I’m kind of jealous. haha!! I am blown away that you have already read and returned all the library books! Awesome!!
