Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.
This week’s theme is Halloween Freebie. I’ve decided to focus on books with ghosts/spirits. Do you enjoy stories with ghosts? What are some of your favorites? Let me know down in the comments!

Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas, Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune, The Taking of Jake Livingston by Ryan Douglass, The City of Dusk by Tara Sim, The City Beautiful by Aden Polydoros

The Library of the Dead by T. L. Huchu, Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo, Daughter of Redwinter by Ed McDonald, Deadbeat Druid by David R. Slayton, Crescentville Haunting by MN Bennet
I love ghost stories!
Have you read The Woman in Black by Susan Hill? It was really good, and so was the British film version of it.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
I have not heard of it before. I’ll definitely have to check it out!
I love a lot of these. The City Beautiful isn’t one that I’ve heard of but the cover definitely looks interesting
It was a great book and one of my favorite reads this year. It really deserves so much more hype!
I loved Klune’s book! Happy Halloween!
I do enjoy ghost stories, although I prefer subtle ones to more overt ones, if that makes sense. THE LIBRARY OF THE DEAD sounds intriguing.
Happy TTT!
Susan
