Top Ten Tuesday – Books with Flowers on the Cover

Top Ten Tuesday - Books Set in a School

Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.

This week’s theme is “Covers/Titles with Things Found in Nature,” and I’ve chosen to narrow it down a bit to my Top Ten Books with Flowers on the Cover. I was surprised by how difficult I found this topic. I expected way more books I’ve read to have flowers in the cover art. I’m not sure if I just missed them or if my faves don’t usually use flowers. I was able to scrounge up 10 books, though, and they are all stories I enjoyed. The covers link to Goodreads in case any of them catch your eye!

Breeze Spells and Bridegrooms by Sarah Wallace & S.O. Callahan, Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett, A Market of Dreams and Destiny by Trip Galey, Kit & Basie by Tess Carletta, House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland

The Foxglove King by Hannah Whitten, The Beautiful Ones by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan, An Education in Malice by S.T. Gibson, All the Hidden Paths by Foz Meadows

There you have it! Ten books with flowers on the cover. Have you read any of these? Let me know down in the comments! Be sure to check out last week’s topic if you missed it. 🙂

  1. I had the same journey — I was sure that I’d read more books with pretty covers featuring flowers, but there weren’t as many as I thought. These are gorgeous!

    • I was really surprised that there weren’t more for me to choose from. I think it probably would have been a lot easier if I opened it up to my TBR, but I only wanted to include things I’d read and enjoyed.
