Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.
This week’s theme is “Covers/Titles with Things Found in Nature,” and I’ve chosen to narrow it down a bit to my Top Ten Books with Flowers on the Cover. I was surprised by how difficult I found this topic. I expected way more books I’ve read to have flowers in the cover art. I’m not sure if I just missed them or if my faves don’t usually use flowers. I was able to scrounge up 10 books, though, and they are all stories I enjoyed. The covers link to Goodreads in case any of them catch your eye!

Breeze Spells and Bridegrooms by Sarah Wallace & S.O. Callahan, Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett, A Market of Dreams and Destiny by Trip Galey, Kit & Basie by Tess Carletta, House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland

The Foxglove King by Hannah Whitten, The Beautiful Ones by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan, An Education in Malice by S.T. Gibson, All the Hidden Paths by Foz Meadows
There you have it! Ten books with flowers on the cover. Have you read any of these? Let me know down in the comments! Be sure to check out last week’s topic if you missed it. 🙂
I had the same journey — I was sure that I’d read more books with pretty covers featuring flowers, but there weren’t as many as I thought. These are gorgeous!
I was really surprised that there weren’t more for me to choose from. I think it probably would have been a lot easier if I opened it up to my TBR, but I only wanted to include things I’d read and enjoyed.
I love flowers on covers and these are gorgeous!
It is definitely a good group of covers, and I really loved all the stories, too. I appreciate when the beauty on the inside and outside match. 🙂
Daughter of the Moon Goddess is one of my favorite covers
It really is so, so beautiful.
I love the cover of The Beautiful Ones, it reminds me of a Frida Kahlo painting! Here’s my post: http://thebiblioshelf.com/2024/02/27/top-ten-tuesday-covers-or-titles-with-things-found-in-nature/
The Beautiful Ones really does have such a beautiful cover. It was a deciding factor in me picking the books up in the first place. Luckily, the story was good, too, and now I’m a SMG fan.
Excellent picks here! I have a few of these on my list to read, or have read them already. 🙂
Thanks! 🙂
Great list! I really want to read The Beautiful Ones! I have read several of these and they were all so good!
I enjoyed The Beautiful Ones, but I’m biased because I love pretty much everything by SMG.
I’ve read a couple of her others and enjoyed them!
So many pretty covers! I do love a floral book cover 🙂
Happy TTT!
