Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.
This week’s theme is ten books with Destination Titles (titles with name of places in them. These places can be real or fiction!) (this was a topic Rachel @ Sunny Side came up with for a freebie week last year and has let me steal it!). I had to choose titles with fictional places in them because I couldn’t find very many real place names in the titles of books I’ve read. Even the fictional ones were a struggle. lol. The titles link to my reviews, if available. The covers link to Goodreads in case any of them catch your eye!

Navola by Paolo Bacigalupi, The Watchmaker of Filigree Street by Natasha Pulley, Misery Bay by Owen Lach, The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, Daughter of Redwinter by Ed McDonald

Starling House by Alix E. Harrow, OverLondon by George Penney & Tony Johnson, Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands by Heather Fawcett, Mysteries of Thorn Manor by Margaret Rogerson, The Jade Setter of Janloon by Fonda Lee
There you have it! Ten books with destination titles. Have you read any of these? Let me know down in the comments!
I just finished Starling House last night, and it was fantastic!!! Definitely one of my top reads of the year. Great picks this week!!
I’m having a real face-meet-palm moment here thinking about how I could’ved possibly missed JADE CITY. It’s only one of my favourite books of all time! 🤦🏻♀️ Haha… Oh dear. Starless Sea, Starling House, Map of the Otherlands… All great titles I loved too. Awesome list! 😍
