Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday. This meme was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.
This week’s theme is Books on My Spring 2026 to-Read List. I never got around to making a list for winter, but I actually did okay with my fall list. I read 8 out of the 10 books that I chose. Hopefully, this spring will be just as successful (or more). I’ve tried to make it a mix of older, recent, and upcoming releases. Let’s take a look at what I hope to read before spring is over… The covers link to the Goodreads page of each book in case something catches your eye!

The Somewhat Wicked Witch of Brigandale by C. M. Waggoner, Thirty Love by Tom Vellner, Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter by Heather Fawcett, The Last Contract of Isako by Fonda Lee, Honor & Heresy by Max Francis

The Dawn Throne by Tara Sim, Rears & Vices by E. M. Caro, Year of the Mer by L. D. Lewis, Infinite Shores by Pascale Lacelle, Our Vicious Oaths by N. E. Davenport
There you have it! Ten books on my spring 2026 to-read list. Do we have any books in common? Let me know down in the comments!
The Dawn Throne is top of my TBR for the Spring. I can’t wait to see how the story moves on and am very excited that the final book will be out later this year. I really want to read Infinite Shores too.
Me too! I feel like we’ve been waiting forever for The Dawn Throne. So, I’m glad there won’t be a super long wait for the final book. I can’t wait to see how things wrap up in Infinite Shores, too.
I’m debating whether to reread City of Dusk and The Midnight Kingdom as it’s so long since I read them. The length is a bit off putting though and I think I can remember then fairly well so I’m undecided
Yeah. The books are quite long. I remember City of Dusk pretty well but not The Midnight Kingdom. I might re-read that one as a refresher, but I’m undecided, too.
Of course, I have several of these on my TBR. I am very excited for the new Fonda Lee. I’m trying to tamper down my expectations though because I’ve been seeing some mixed reviews.
Oh no. I’ll be devastated if I don’t love it. Hopefully, the negative reviewers just have poor taste. lol.
