It’s a new month! That means it is time to share a new TBR. It is also the start of Pride month. So, of course my TBR is going to be super gay. 🌈 That being said, my reading is typically super queer all year, which means things really aren’t that different from business as usual. lol. Anyhow… Without further ado, let’s dive into my June 2026 hopefuls and a brief recap of my reading from last month!

Recap of Last Month

I had a pretty great reading month in May. I finished five out of my six priority reads and started on the last one before the month was over. It’s not a perfect sweep, but I’ll take it! lol. As a reminder, here were my priority reads for last month, along with my rating for them:

• The Last Contract of Isako by Fonda Lee (4.75⭐)
• The Republic of Memory by Mahmud El Sayed (Currently Reading)
• Faithbreaker by Hannah Kaner (4.75⭐)
• The Rainshadow Orphans by Naomi Ishiguro (4.25⭐)
• A Murder Most Camp by Nicolas DiDomizio (3.75⭐, RTC)

I also finished some other books in May for a total of 11 books, 4503 pages, and an average rating of 4.32 stars. That is actually a little less than my usual amount of both books and pages, but I spent a lot of time in the garden in May. So, that’s probably why. Fantasy was the top genre of the month, but romance came in a close second. Here’s a quick look at everything I read along with some stats from StoryGraph:

June 2026 Priority Hopefuls

I’m sticking with six books again for my priority reads in June, and they are all super gay in honor of Pride month. 😊 One of them is a June ARC, The Silent Paths of Night by David R. Slayton, and another one is a July ARC, International Relations by Zac Hammett. The rest are a mix of recent and older releases, including We Burned So Bright by TJ Klune, Our Rogue Fates by Sarah Glenn Marsh, Bromantasy by Maire Roche, & Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab.

Other June 2026 Hopefuls

I’m going to keep the GAY train rolling with my other hopefuls for June 2026. One of these, The Dawn Throne, is one of my current reads. So, hopefully I can manage to at least finish it in the next 30 days. We’ll see… It is a pretty chonky book. With that in mind, here are all of my other June hopefuls:
