Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The meme is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality.
Weekly Wrap-Up
This week has really flown by. I’ve been a bit busier with work and didn’t get to read as much as I would’ve liked, but I still made some progress on my TBR. I didn’t get any book mail this week, but I got quite a few books from other sources instead. I really need to slow down on getting new ones because my TBR continues to grow exponentially, but my reading rate has stayed the same. So, we’ll see. Next week might be a slower book week, but I’m not going to make any promises. 😉
Library Acquisition

I decided to jump on the Shadow and Bone craze. After seeing the trailer, I really want to watch the show, but I know I would feel guilty if I didn’t read the book first. So, I checked the first book out from the library, and I plan to start it today. Therefore, a review should be coming soon.
Amazon eBook Purchases
I bought quite a few ebooks this week because Amazon offered a $3 credit after purchasing $10 of ebooks. A few of the books are from authors in the writing community that I follow on Twitter. The rest are books by Alice Oseman. I love Heartstopper, and I decided to pick up a few of her other books focused on some of the same characters.
Barnes & Noble Purchases

I also made a quick trip to Barnes & Noble just to browse. Of course, the browsing turned into buying because I have no self control. These books caught my eye as I was walking among the shelves. I had no idea what they are about, but the covers and mention of the multiverse called to me. The blurb was also interesting. So, I’m looking forward to seeing what they’re about. I guess I’ll see if you can judge a book by its cover.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I’m satisfied with what I’ve added to my shelves this week, and I’m looking forward to reading it all. Have you read any of the books I picked up? If so, what did you think? Are any of these on your TBR? Let me know in the comments below!
