Stacking the Shelves (11) – June 26, 2021

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The meme is hosted by Reading Reality.

Weekly Wrap-Up

This week has been much better than last week and not only because I bought a ton of books. 😊 Although, I’m sure that didn’t hurt. I’ve been feeling less anxious and more productive. I’ve worked quite a bit this week and made some progress on doing chores around the house. I’ve also read some great books (They Both Die at the End and Autoboyography). I’ve officially finished my TBR goals for the month of June (yay!), and I realized now it is time to start planning for July. Where has the month gone? Overall, things are just in a good place at the moment, and I hope you have all had a great week too! Now…on to the books!

Barnes & Noble Purchases

So, I may have gone to Barnes & Noble multiple times this week. I was able to pick up several books at over 50% off thanks to their sale and found some books I’ve had my eye on for a bit but didn’t want to pay full price for the hardback. I also bought my first manga, which I’m excited to read.

Amazon Book Mail

Amazon also had some pretty great deals this week, and I was able to pick up a lot of stuff there too. After finishing They Both Die at the End, I’ve decided Adam Silvera is an auto-buy author for me, and I picked up the rest of his backlist. I even bought my own copy of What If It’s Us to re-read before the sequel comes out later this year…I couldn’t help it; it was on sale. I also got one of my most anticipated releases of this month, Seven Deaths of an Empire, and I’m hoping to get to reading it soon.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this was a great week for buying books thanks to all the sales. I can’t believe the month is already almost over, but I’ve added a lot of great books to my TBR and shelves this month. Hopefully, one day soon I’ll get to reading them all.

Have you read any of the books I picked up? If so, what did you think? Are any of these on your TBR? Let me know in the comments below!
