Stacking the Shelves (17) – August 7, 2021

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The meme is hosted by Reading Reality.

Weekly Wrap-Up

This has been a much slower week than last week. At the end of last week, I felt like I had been running around all over trying to get things done and attending appointments. This week was the exact opposite. I rarely left home and spent most of the week reading, which has been awesome. I reviewed two books this week, Shards of Earth and The Hand of the Sun King. Both of the books were five star reads for me, and I cannot recommend them enough. I’ve read some other stuff and made progress on my Trope-ical Readathon TBR, and more details of my progress so far will be available in tomorrow’s post.

Amazon eBook Purchases

I found a few books for free on Amazon that sounded interesting. I went ahead and picked them up. I can almost never resist free books. 🙂

Comic Books

I also picked up a a few comics this week. I got the Star Wars and Spider-Man titles, as always. However, I also bought the newest Avengers, which I’m hoping to catch up on soon.

Final Thoughts

Overall, it has been a slower, but great, week. I’m enjoying the Trope-ical Readathon so far and am looking forward to another week of great books!

Have you read any of the books I picked up? If so, what did you think? Are any of these on your TBR? Let me know in the comments below!
