
Hello, everyone! I cannot believe it is already time to start looking forward to anticipated releases for September. But it is that time! Here are my top 6 most anticipated releases for September 2021 that I will definitely be adding to my shelves:

#6 – The Orphan Witch by Paige Crutcher

What Caught My Eye: This seems like it will be an interesting story about magic, family, and finding oneself. I love all of those topics and am looking forward to seeing how they combine in this book.

#5 – Certain Dark Things by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Release Date: September 7, 2021
Goodreads Rating: 3.68 out of 5 stars
What Caught My Eye: I’ve seen this book around on Twitter a lot, and it sounds really interesting. Based on the synopsis, it seems like it will be a cool take on vampires…and with a cover like that, how could I say no?

#4 – Light From Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki

What Caught My Eye: The cover caught my attention as did the praise from TJ Klune listed on it. I requested the book from NetGalley, but didn’t get approved. The synopsis sounds fascinating. So, I’m excited to finally get my hands on it!

#3 – Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao

What Caught My Eye: The cover is absolutely stunning and instantly drew me to this book. The praise all over Twitter and intriguing synopsis have also made this book one I’m definitely not willing to miss out on. Giant battling robots driven by humans to defeat aliens…sign me up!

#2 – Before We Disappear by Shaun David Hutchinson

What Caught My Eye: This is another book I found through NetGalley but did not get approval for. It sounds like an interesting, historical star-crossed lovers story with magic. I’m happy I’ll finally be able to get my hands on it!

What Caught My Eye: I’m so grateful to have gotten the eARC for this book. It is one of my most anticipated releases of the year. I plan to read it within the next week, and I cannot wait! I’ll also be picking up a physical copy upon release because I’m sure I’ll want to reread it. It is TJ Klune after all…
