My 5 Most Anticipated October 2021 Releases

Hello, everyone! September is almost in the rear view mirror, which means it is time to look forward to new releases coming out in October! Here are my top 5 most anticipated releases for October 2021 that I will definitely be adding to my shelves in one form or another:

#5Child of Light by Terry Brooks

Release Date: October 12, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 3.27 out of 5 Stars

What Caught My Eye: The author caught my eye on this one. I know he is popular for the Shannara series, which I’ve never read. I thought this would be a good introduction to his writing as it is the beginning of a new series. I also was lucky enough to get it from NetGalley and am looking forward to finishing it.

#4The Color of Dragons by R.A. Salvatore & Erika Lewis

Release Date: October 19, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 3.79 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: It’s been quite a while since I’ve read a R.A. Salvatore novel, and this one caught my eye because of the beautiful cover. The synopsis sounds intriguing, as well.

#3The Gilded Cage by Lynette Noni

Release Date: October 12, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.46 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: This is a sequel to another book that has been on my TBR for a while, The Prison Healer. They both sound fascinating and have beautiful covers. So, I’m adding this one to my TBR too. I plan to read both books as soon as they are available at the library.

#2Little Thieves by Margaret Owen

Release Date: October 19, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.37 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: The cover sucked me in instantly, and the synopsis sounds epic. I also really love re-tellings. So, I’m sure I will love it.

#1Aristotle and Dante Dive Into the Waters of the World by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

Release Date: October 12, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.49 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: This is another book that is a sequel to a book that is on my TBR. I’m excited to get to read both of them because the first book has won a ton of awards and sounds fantastic.

So, there you have it! My five most anticipated books of October 2021. Are any of these on your TBR? What October 2021 releases are you most excited about? Let me know in the comments!
