WWW Wednesday (20) – September 21, 2022

Hello, everyone! It’s Wednesday! That means it is time for another WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words. I’ll be answering the following questions:

  1. What did you read last?
  2. What are you currently reading?
  3. What will you read next?

What did you read last?

Hello, everyone! This week’s update is going to be a relatively short one because I’m exhausted from staying up half the night reading and watching Andor. Is anyone else excited that we get new Star Wars EVERY WEEK for the next two months?! I loved the first episodes and cannot wait for more. I have a feeling it is going to become one of my favorite Star Wars projects. Now I’m just hoping it will live up to my expectations. lol.

As for reading, it has been a busy week. I’m only going to talk about one of the books, though, because I’ve reviewed or will review all the others. So, if you want to know my thoughts about them, you can check out the reviews. People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry was a delight to read, which wasn’t a surprise. In case you haven’t been paying attention, I love Henry’s writing quite a bit, and this book was no different. I liked the split structure of the book that showed the progression of the friendship in the past and the re-kindling of that relationship in the present side by side.

What was my favorite of the week? I think my favorite of the week would have to be Never Ever Getting Back Together by Sophie Gonzales. I’m not going to tell you why, though. You’ll just have to wait for my review. šŸ™‚

What are you currently reading?

I’m currently listening to Queen of Air and Darkness, and the pain of these characters is just killing me. The funeral scene left me in shambles, and the characters and I are currently putting the pieces of our hearts back together. I’ve also started Silver Under Nightfall. I don’t know much about it other than it is about vampires, which I’m pretty excited about. I haven’t read a vampire book in quite a while.

What will you read next?

Surprising no one… I’ll be reading more ARCs! I’ve seen lots of positive responses to One Dark Window. So, I’m really excited to get to that one just as spooky season is getting started.

I hope you’ve all had a great week! What have you been reading? Have you read any of these books? If so, what did you think? Let me know in the comments!

    • Thank you! Never Ever Getting Back Together was a lot of fun to read. I’ve been really behind on Cassandra Clare books for a LONG time. So, I completely understand. One of my goals for the year was to catch up on them. So, I’m trying to make some progress…

  1. I still have yet to read a Sophie Gonzales book and I don’t even know why cos I’ve heard so many good things about them, and this contemporary sounds great, too. I’ve been seeing so many people read (and absolutely love) One Dark Window over the last week and it’s really piqued my curiosity. I hope you enjoy it and happy reading! šŸ™‚
