Monthly TBR – July 2023

July is going to be a super busy month. I’ve got quite a few ARCs to read, and I’m participating in two blog tours. So, I’ve opted to prioritize the following 10 books this month to hopefully get through it all:

  • Blade of Dream by Daniel Abraham (ARC)
  • The Jasad Heir by Sara Hashem (ARC)
  • The Magicians by Lev Grossman
  • Academy Arcanist by Sham Stovall (ARC/Blog Tour)
  • Magic’s Pawn by Mercedes Lackey (12 Month Challenge Pick)
  • A Rulebook for Restless Rogues by Jess Everlee (ARC)
  • Silver Nitrate by Silvia Moreno-Garcia (ARC)
  • Among Thieves by M. J. Kuhn
  • Thick as Thieves by M. J. Kuhn (ARC/Blog Tour)
  • Jack’s Ever After by Owen Lach (ARC)

I also really want to re-read The City of Dusk and read some books I’ve recently received, such as Painted Devils, The Sun and the Star, Hounded, and The Blighted Stars. Those will be more play it by ear depending on if I have time.

Are any of these books on your TBR? Have you already read them? If so, what did you think? Let me know down in the comments!

  1. I love Magic’s Pawn and the following two books. I read them over 25 years ago so will be interested to see what you think reading it for the first time now. I am definitely looking forward to reading The Jasad Heir later this month.

  2. The Jasad Heir is on my TBR, but not for this month because I decided not to go the ARC route for it. I can’t wait to read it, though. And wow, two blog tours! Good for you. It’s been…a long time since I signed up for one (BBNYA doesn’t count haha).
