  1. Oh I’m waiting for my library hold of The Phoenix Keeper to come in and so excited for it! That edition of Castle of the Cursed is stunning 🤩!
I remember reading the shiver books when I was a teen but I don’t think I finished it, I was toying with the idea of ending the series but I don’t remember anything lol. Fun Haul!

    • I hope we both end up loving The Phoenix Keeper. I just saw a great review for it earlier today, and it has me excited to pick it up soon. Owlcrate has really been winning recently with their box picks and designs. They have been stunning, and Castle of the Cursed was no exception. I ran across the Shiver books in the used book store and decided to pick them up because I love some of Stiefvater’s other work.

      • Yess, fingers crossed indeed! That’s so exciting. I’m glad, I think I bought one Owlcrate book but I didn’t sign up for the subscription. Glad they’ve been doing a good job though coz they’re not exactly cheap haha! Nicee, I need to try other stuff by Stiefvater , namely The Raven Boys.

  2. Wow, what a haul! I’d love to get my hands on those copies of The Phoenix Keeper and A Dowry of Blood, and I’m eager to pick up The Doors of Midnight as well.

  3. That’s an amazing haul. I would hate to see a post where there was no restraint 😀😀
I have to say that I was underwhelmed by Valdemar which was really disappointing. I loved both of the Jim Butcher books though. I hope that you enjoy all of these

    • I’d hate to see a post with no restraint, too. My wallet would especially hate it. lol.

That sucks that Valdemar was underwhelming. I got it from Book Outlet for $5. So, I won’t be too put out if I don’t enjoy it. I’m looking forward to the Jim Butcher books. I managed to get the new one on sale for 50% off. I can never pass up a sale. 🤣

      • I got the kindle version of Valdemar so it wasn’t too expensive. I have the other two in US paperback editions and now I’m torn about whether I want to buy it in paperback just to complete the set.
