Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday. This meme was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.
This week’s theme is Books You’d be a Fool Not to Read. I’ve chosen to interpret this topic by giving you all my list of the best books of 2025… so far. These are all books I’ve read and loved in the first quarter of 2025, and many of them are new releases. The titles link to my review, if available, and the covers link to the Goodreads page of each book in case you want to learn more about them!

Breath of the Dragon by Shannon Lee & Fonda Lee, Stranger Skies by Pascale Lacelle, The Dead Cat Tail Assassins by P. Djeli Clark, The Bones Beneath My Skin by TJ Klune, Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales by Heather Fawcett

Heavenly Bodies by Imani Erriu, Rebel Witch by Kristen Ciccarelli, The Resurrectionist by A. Rae Dunlap, The Hymn to Dionysus by Natasha Pulley, Gifted & Talented by Olivie Blake
There you have it! My ten best books of 2025… so far. Do we have any favorites in common? Let me know down in the comments!
This is a good interpretation of the theme.
Thanks!
I’ve read one of these and several of these are on my TBR! I guess, I’ve got some good reading ahead. 🙂
Yes! You really do! 😊
You have read some interesting books so far this year.

I need to finish the Emily Wilde books. I loved the first one.
I loved them all so much!
