Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday. This meme was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.
This week’s theme is Bookish Wishes. However, I really don’t need any more books at the moment. I actually just bought a bunch of books over the weekend while I was in Chicago. So, I’ve decided to share the ten most recent books I’ve added to my shelves instead of a wishlist. The covers link to the Goodreads page of each book in case you want to learn more about them!

Heir of Storms by Lauryn Hamilton Murray, He’s to Die For by Erin Dunn, The Two Lies of Faven Sythe by Megan E. O’Keefe, Uprooted by Naomi Novik, The Potency of Ungovernable Impulses by Malka Older

The Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association by Caitlin Rozakis, Anima Rising by Christopher Moore, The Crimson Road by A. G. Slatter, Overgrowth by Mira Grant, The Sorrow of the Sea by Stephen Aryan
There you have it! Ten of the most recent books I’ve added to my shelves. Have you read any of them? Let me know down in the comments!
Overgrowth sure sounds interesting.
Yeah. I’m super curious about it. I haven’t read many first contact stories.
I only heard of Uprooted, but I’m not sure if I read it. I have to look it up.
I stumbled across Uprooted in a used book shop, and it was in great condition. I’ve enjoyed some of Novik’s other books. So, I couldn’t pass it up. 🙂
The only one I’ve read is uprooted which I enjoyed. I’m definitely interested in several of the others though
I enjoy Novik’s writing. So, I was pumped to find Uprooted in a used book shop for super cheap.
I haven’t heard of any of these but Grimoire Grammar School and Sorrow of the Sea caught my interest at first glance..

I’m looking forward to both of them. Sorrow of the Sea is actually the end of a trilogy, and Grimoire Grammar School just sounds so fun. 🙂
I hope you enjoy them!
