Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday. This meme was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.

This week’s theme is Books I HAD to Have Immediately but Still Haven’t Read. I feel attacked by this topic. 🤣 I have over 1000 unread books in my home. So, narrowing this list down to 10 was a Herculean effort. These are all books that I went to the story to pick up on release day or pre-ordered because I just knew I’d be picking them up immediately. How wrong I turned out to be. lol. Seriously, though… I do need to make some progress on my backlog due to lack of space, and this list actually seems like a pretty good place to start.
