I’ve made some progress on my ARCs since the last NetGalley check-in. Check out where I was a month ago in my last check-in post. My feedback ratio is back up to 71%, and I read the two ARCs I planned to complete in the last month. I’ve completed 15 ARC reviews out of the total 21 for which I have been approved. I now have five unread books available to read on my shelf since I was approved for one ARC and read two ARCs in the last month.
The books below are those currently needing to be read on my shelf. I plan to read and review the books in bold before the next check-in on September 15.

Child of Light by Terry Brooks | Publication Date: October 12, 2021
The All-Consuming World by Cassandra Khaw | Publication Date: September 7, 2021
Traitors of the Black Crown by Cate Pearce | Publication Date: September 22, 2021
The Beholden by Cassandra Rose Clarke | Publication Date: January 18, 2022
Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune | Publication Date: September 21, 2021
How do you stay on top of your NetGalley ARCs? Are you successful at staying above the coveted 80% ratio threshold? Let me know in the comments!
These all look so good! Currently I’m at 85% on NetGalley, but I’ve been hearing you should actually shoot for above 90 which is suuuuper daunting

Yeah. Above 90 seems impossible right now, but I think that will get easier to achieve as the number of books I’ve reviewed goes up. All it takes now is one book to drop me 5% because I still don’t have that many reviews done. So, my long term plan is just to keep reviewing while trying not to request too many books at once.

Ohh, these look fab! I am definitely very curious about Under the Whispering Door! I hope you enjoy the books!
I don’t really have a hard time keeping my ratio up, I am really selective on what I want to read + I got quite a few books under my belt after years of using Netgalley so my ratio doesn’t go up or down that much (though it definitely did in the beginning). I currently got 15 books on my to read shelf (I am on vacation so I don’t get to them) and my ratio is 98%. I do hope to get it back to 99% after my vacation. 🙂

Thanks! Yeah. The ratio fluctuates a lot anytime I get approved for a new book because I’m still relatively new. It is not as bad as when I first started, but I’m looking forward to when I don’t have to worry quite so much about putting in requests tanking my numbers.

You’re welcome! And yeah, in the beginning getting your ratio anywhere is just hard and I know that at times I was just frustrated with it. Now I am enjoying NG much more. I hope you find many more books to get your numbers up and have less fluctuating ratio.
