It is Saturday once again, which means another week has come and gone. So, it’s time to wrap up my progress and the blog posts I’ve written this week.
Trope-ical Readathon Progress
Here’s a quick look at my Trope-ical Readathon progress so far. I’ve accumulated 6511 points and completed eleven general challenges, the woods team challenge, and the fantasy team book. I read Wild and Wicked Things, which wasn’t really my cup of tea. You can read all my thoughts about it in my review, which is linked below. I also read The Wolf Den and Book Boyfriend. I liked The Wolf Den. It was a brutal portrayal of life in Pompeii for the women at the lowest levels of Roman society. I also liked Book Boyfriend. The writing took some getting used to, but I have come to realize that I really like the combination of pining after a best friend and miscommuication. I’m so close to finishing my TBR for the readathon, but I don’t think I’ll make it. I’m having oral surgery on Tuesday, and I don’t think I’ll be up for much reading afterward. But I hope I’m wrong.

Comic Book Reading
I didn’t get around to reading any comics this week, but I hope to catch up again this week.
Blog Posts & Book Reviews
ICYMI, all the new stuff from the last week is listed below:
- Weekly Wrap-Up – March 19, 2022 – In case you missed it last week, here’s the weekly wrap-up from then that highlights all my posts and progress from the previous week.
- ARC Review – So This Is Ever After – This review highlights my thoughts about So This Is Ever After by F.T. Lukens, which was an adorable fairy tale where the main character tries to woo each of his friends to avoid losing his throne (and his life).
- Micro Reviews – The Ivory Key, Forestborn, & The Hollow Hills – I wrote some new, short reviews of books I recently finished but didn’t have time to write a full review for.
- ARC Review – Wild and Wicked Things – This review outlines my thoughts about Wild and Wicked Things by Francesca May, a book I didn’t really enjoy because I hated the characters and found the world-building lacking.
Final Thoughts
As always, I love reading wrap-up posts. So, if you’ve got one for this week, please leave a link to it in the comments, and I’ll stop by and check it out.
