Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.
This week’s theme is Books with Weather Events/Words in the Title/on the Cover. I’ve chosen to stick with weather words for this one because it was the easiest way to search for books. These are all books I’ve read and enjoyed to varying degrees. The covers link to the book’s Goodreads page if you’d like to learn more about them!

Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell, Scattered Showers by Rainbow Rowell, Storm Front by Jim Butcher, The Rising Storm by Cavan Scott, Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan, In the Shadow of Lightning by Brian McClellan, Into the Lightning Gate by Robert Roth, When London Snow Falls by Hayden Stone, Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
Ooo! Hail! I don’t think I’ve seen that weather term yet today. Great choices.
Thanks! I was struggling with the tenth one and then randomly remembered hail was a weather term. It definitely wasn’t one of the first things I thought about.
This reminds me that I still need to read Storm Front, hahaha.
It’s the only book in that series that I’ve read. I’ll get around to the next ones eventually… 🙂
Brilliant choices. It’s surprising just how many books there are with Storm in the title
There really are a bunch. I have several more on my TBR, too.
Great choices! I almost did The Lightening Thief.
Thanks! I felt like it was an obvious choice, but I was struggling to get to 10. Lol
