Books on My Spring 2025 to-Read List – Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday - Books Set in a School

Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday. This meme was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.

This week’s theme is Books on My Spring 2025 to-Read List. I almost never stick to these lists whenever I do them, but they are still fun to make. I’ve tried to pick a mix of ARCs and recent/older releases that I still need to read. The covers link to the Goodreads page of each book in case something catches your eye!

Red Rising by Pierce Brown, Bloodmarked by Tracy Deonn, The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson, Gifted & Talented by Olivie Blake, A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett

Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins, The Radiant King by David Dalglish, The Mask of Fear by Alexander Freed, The Ashfire King by Chelsea Abdullah, Go Luck Yourself by Sara Raasch

There you have it! Ten books on my spring 2025 to-read list. Do we have any books in common? Let me know down in the comments!

  1. I am waiting to see more reviews on Sunrise on the Reaping.. but Haymitch is my favorite character! I might buy it anyways. lol. I need to get back to my Drop of Corruption arc. Bloodmarked is so good. I have seen so many great things about Raven Scholar and kicking myself for not requesting the physical. haha I hope you enjoy all of these when you get to them.

    • I really like Haymitch, too. So, I’m very curious to see how his story plays out. I just started Legendborn and am liking it so far. I’m glad to see that the sequel is good.

I’m the opposite. I requested the physical ARC before realizing that it is a pick for one of my April book subscriptions. Now I have no idea what I’ll do with the advanced copy once I’ve finished it. If you want it, I’ll be happy to mail it to you once I’ve read it. Otherwise, I guess I will hunt down a little free library because I do not have the space for two copies. lol.

      • Yes, I am so curious and that’s probably why I’ll just get the book. lol! The library holds are so long. I ended up liking Legendborn a lot more on my re-read. I picked up many things I had missed the first time. I finished the 3rd book last week and it was so good. Great reading ahead!

Is it Illumicrate?! I have it and I’m pretty sure that it’s coming in that box and I’m so excited!! You are SO sweet! <3 Definitely stick it in a free little library, since I'll have my Illumicrate copy. Otherwise, I would have taken you up on that!

  2. I’m definitely looking forward to The Ashfire King and A drop of Corruption. I loved The Raven Scholar so hope that you enjoy that one.

  3. I’m not much of a SFF reader, but I am interested in RED RISING. I’ve heard really good things about the series, so I went ahead and bought a copy of RED RISING. It should be here tomorrow. Yay! I hope you enjoy all these.

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
