Welcome to my monthly wrap-up for February 2025! Yes. I realize it is already almost the end of March. Better late than never, though. Right? February was a good month. I had a great birthday and got to spend a week visiting my parents back in Louisiana. I spent most of my time at home hibernating because of the cold, which meant I had plenty of time to read. 🙂
The blog continued to flourish in February. I had my best day ever thanks to one post that really took off. I posted consistently throughout the month and even managed to get quite a lot of blog hopping done. It was just a really great month.
What I’ve Read
Books & Audiobooks
February was a good month. I managed to finish off my TBR and then some. I made it into the double digits again this month with 12 books (4,852 pages), which is even a little more than I read in January. February was a better month when it comes to ratings. Most of my reads were 4 stars or above. I only DNFd one book. The books I finished (and DNFd) in February are listed below (ratings link to my review, if available):

Progress On My 2025 Reading Goals
Let’s continue this monthly wrap-up with notes on my progress with my 2025 bookish goals. I’ve kept my goals pretty simple again this year. I do want to keep some sort of record of the trackable ones, though. So, here’s a quick peek at how my year is going so far.
- Goodreads Challenge: 22/100 books (+12 in February)
- Storygraph Pages Challenge: COMPLETED!!
- Read from My Shelves: 9/50 (+4 in February)
- Books Unhauled: 3 sold on Pango (+0 in February)
- Blog More Consistently: 8/52 weeks with at least 3 posts (+4 in February)
- Read Red Rising: 0/6 (+0 in February)
- Read Book Box Picks: 1 (+1 in February)
Unsurprisingly, I’ve already stopped using my reading journal. lol. I think it is time to give up on this dream. They don’t seem to be for me because I just never can stick with it. Oh well. On the bright side, I’m still standing strong on my comic book buying ban. So, there’s been at least some success this month.
Final Thoughts
The blogging went well again in February. I wrote a new post on most weekdays in February, which surpassed my goal of three per week. I’ve also still been reviewing with renewed vigor. I wrote five reviews in February and participated in many of my favorite memes. You can find all of my February posts in my blog archives, which are linked in the sidebar on the right.
Overall, I had a good month of reading with consistent ratings. My average rating was 4.1 in February, which is much higher than last month, and my favorite book was Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales. What was your favorite book from February? Let me know down in the comments!
That’s it for this monthly wrap-up. Thank you to everyone who has visited the blog and engaged with comments and/or likes! I appreciate all of you and always enjoy reading your input in the comments. I hope everyone is having a great March!
That sounds like a really good month of reading to me as well as great progress on your goals for the year. I think that my favourite book from February has to be The Raven Scholar which I loved
