I’ve really enjoyed having a monthly TBR again so far this year. So, I’m back to make a new one for February. You can find what I hoped to read in January here, and I plan to do a wrap-up at some point in the near future. Be on the lookout for that… Without further ado, let’s dive into my February 2025 hopefuls!

I stuck with six books for February because it was a number that didn’t produce a ton of stress in January. It was doable and allowed me plenty of flexibility. I’ve once again split the TBR into two parts: chosen books and categories with a range of potential hopefuls. February’s chosen books are all February ARCs, including The Bones Beneath My Skin by TJ Klune, Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales by Heather Fawcett, and Greenteeth by Molly O’Neill.
Book Box Pick
I really need to focus on reading the books I get in my monthly subscriptions. So, I chose to make a pick from recent book boxes one of my categories. Here are a few of the books that I am considering:

The Phoenix Keeper by S.A. Maclean, Water Moon by Samantha Sotto Yambao, The Last Hour Between Worlds by Melissa Caruso
2024 ARC
These hopefuls are the same ones as last month. I ended up finishing a different 2024 ARC. So, none of these got picked up yet. Two of these are finales that I’ve been dying to read. Hopefully this will be the month for at least one of them!

Rebel Blade by Davinia Evans, Witch Queen of Redwinter by Ed McDonald, The Rules of Royalty by Cale Dietrich
Mood Read from Shelves
My shelves are also overflowing with unread books. Whose aren’t though? Right? I am trying to do something about it and am hoping to complete at least one mood read from my shelves in February. Here are a few books with a high chance of being picked up…

Four Ruined Realms by Mai Corland, Blood Over Bright Haven by M.L. Wang, On Vicious Worlds by Bethany Jacobs
Well. Those are my February 2025 hopefuls. I’d love to read everything listed on this page, but that is unlikely. If I make it through six of them, I’ll consider February to be a success! Do we have any hopefuls in common this month? Happy reading!
Cue me waiting somewhat impatiently for Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales. I don’t think they’re giving me an ARC of this one, unfortunately. STILL VERY MUCH looking forward to getting my hands on it, though. I hope you love all of these!
I’m so disappointed that I didn’t get around to reading my ARC before the publication date, but I do plan to start it (hopefully) tomorrow. I’m excited for the ending but also a little bummed for the series to be over.
Nothing like a mood read, is there? No hurry, no pressure to review, just the sheer pleasure of reading.
It really is the best!
Oh man, you’ve got some of my faves on here! Looking forward to your thoughts!
Aah, so many on here that I’m super excited to read. All your book box picks are also on my TBR and I can’t wait to read them. I’m also super keen to see how Emily Wilde’s trilogy will end (ah, so bittersweet). I also recently got a copy of Blood Over Brighthaven and I’ve heard great things about it so I can’t wait to read it. I hope you enjoy all of the ones you get to 🙂 Happy reading!
I’ve been chomping at the bit to get to the last Emily Wilde book. I loved the first two so much, and it will definitely be bittersweet for it to end.
[…] was a good month. I managed to finish off my TBR and then some. I made it into the double digits again this month with 12 books (4,852 pages), which […]
