Monthly Wrap-Up: March 2025

monthly wrap-up

Welcome to my monthly wrap-up for March 2025! I’m a bit late again this month. Unfortunately, I just haven’t been in the mood for blogging that much. I finally got this post finished, though. So, here it is! lol.

March was a great month. The weather finally started warming up some, and I was able to spend more time outside. I began building my new raised garden beds. The yard had a bunch of limbs that needed picking up, as well. So, I got that done, too. In addition to my outdoor endeavors, I dominated the Trope-ical Readathon. I finished all of the prompts, and then some. It was the most I’ve read in a really long time, and I had a great time with it.

On the blogging front, things slowed down a bit. All of the extra time that I spent reading and doing outdoor chores kept me from blogging as much as I did the last few months. It also cut into my blog hopping time, which I’m a bit bummed about. I guess I need to work on figuring out how to balance my time a bit better. 🙂

What I’ve Read

Books & Audiobooks

March was a great month. I managed to finish all of the Trope-ical Readathon prompts. I made it into the upper teens this month with 18 books (6,698 pages), which is the most I’ve read in one month in a really long time. March was a solid month when it comes to ratings, as well, with most of my reads being 4 stars or above. I didn’t DNF any books this month. The books I finished in March for the general readathon prompts are listed below (ratings link to my review, if available):

Progress On My 2025 Reading Goals

Let’s continue this monthly wrap-up with notes on my progress with my 2025 bookish goals. I’ve kept my goals pretty simple again this year. I do want to keep some sort of record of the trackable ones, though. So, here’s a quick peek at how my year is going so far.

  • Goodreads Challenge: 40/100 books (+18 in March)
  • Storygraph Pages Challenge: COMPLETED!!
  • Read from My Shelves: 13/50 (+4 in March)
  • Books Unhauled: 5 sold on Pango (+2 in March)
  • Blog More Consistently: 12/52 weeks with at least 3 posts (+4 in March)
  • Read Red Rising: 0/6 (+0 in March)
  • Read Book Box Picks: 2 (+1 in March)

Final Thoughts

I didn’t blog quite as much in March because I started spending more time outside getting my garden ready. However, I did still manage to meet my goal of three posts per week. I wrote quite a few reviews in March and continued to participate, albeit more sporadically, in many of my favorite memes. You can find all of my March posts in my blog archives, which are linked in the sidebar on the right.

Overall, I had a good month of reading with decent ratings covering quite the spread from 3.25 to 5 stars. My average rating was 3.99 in March, which is a little lower than last month but not by much. My favorite book was The Hymn to Dionysus. What was your favorite book from March? Let me know down in the comments!

That’s it for this monthly wrap-up. Thank you to everyone who has visited the blog and engaged with comments and/or likes! I appreciate all of you and always enjoy reading your input in the comments. I hope everyone is having a great April!

    • Yeah. My focus seems to bounce between the three. So, I’m just trying to roll with wherever my mood takes me. I am happy it is finally nice enough for outdoor activities, though. Getting my garden ready has been a lot of fun.
