Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.

This week’s theme is New-to-Me Authors I Discovered in 2023. I read so many new authors in 2023, which isn’t surprising since I read more books than ever last year. I’ve already come to love many of the authors, and these ten are at the top of that list. I hope to read more books by all of these authors in 2024. This week’s theme is Books I Meant to Read in 2023 but Didn’t Get To. There were so many books I didn’t manage to read in 2023. Unfortunately, there just isn’t enough time in the day to get to everything that catches my eye.
