Hello, everyone! October is almost over, which means it is time to look forward to the new books coming out in November. There are so many new releases that I must have in the coming month, and it is too hard to rank them in any order. So, here are my top 9 most anticipated releases for November 2021, in no particular order, that I will definitely be adding to my shelves in one form or another:

Star Wars: Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil by Timothy Zahn

Release Date: November 16, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.53 out of 5 Stars

What Caught My Eye: The Thrawn books are some of my favorites from all of the published Star Wars material. This series, in particular, has been very good, and I’m excited to see how it ends. So, it is a no brainer that this one will be added to my shelf on release day.

Our Violent Ends by Chloe Gong

Goodreads Rating: 4.62 out of 5 Stars

What Caught My Eye: I recently bought the first book in this duology after seeing such great things about it on Twitter and other blogs. I’m looking forward to being able to read both of the books together.

A Psalm of Storms and Silence by Roseanne A. Brown

Release Date: November 2, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.44 out of 5 Stars

What Caught My Eye: This is another sequel to a book I haven’t had a chance to read yet. Both of them sound fantastic and have beautiful covers. I’m looking forward to reading them together, as well.

Skin of the Sea by Natasha Bowen

Release Date: November 2, 2021

What Caught My Eye: I first saw this book on Twitter and was instantly intrigued. It seems to be a mix of African mythology and The Little Mermaid. I’ve always loved The Little Mermaid. So, I’m interested to see what this author does with this story.

The Nobleman’s Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks by Mackenzi Lee

Goodreads Rating: 4.12 out of 5 Stars

What Caught My Eye: This is yet another sequel of books I haven’t read yet. I own all the other books in this series, and I’ve wanted to read them for a while. At this point I’m just going to wait for the conclusion in this book, and then read them all together.

Forging A Nightmare by Patricia A. Jackson

Release Date: November 23, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 3.92 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: I ran across this book on NetGalley and instantly fell in love with the cover. Then I saw it was about Nephilim, and I couldn’t pass it up. Luckily, I’ve been approved to read it and will be starting it soon.

Jade Legacy by Fonda Lee

Release Date: November 30, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.54 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: This is the third installment in a fantasy trilogy I’ve seen a lot about on Twitter. I requested it on NetGalley thinking I probably wouldn’t be approved, but I was! I’ve started reading the first book and am enjoying it so far. I’m looking forward to finishing up the series one after the other so I don’t forget things between books. šŸ™‚

A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske

Release Date: November 2, 2021

Goodreads Rating: 4.26 out of 5 stars

What Caught My Eye: The cover sucked me in instantly, and the promise of Edwardian England, LGBT romance, and magic made it a book I can’t pass up. I had given up on my NetGalley request, but it got approved yesterday. So, I’ll be reading this one quickly and getting a review out on the publication date next week. Stay tuned!
