Today I’m participating in Top Ten Tuesday. This meme was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week there is a new theme/topic, and participants choose ten books that fit it.
This week’s theme is Books Set in Another Time. I decided to split this week’s topic into books set in the past and future. So, the first five books have a historical element of some sort, and the rest are set in the future. All covers link to Goodreads in case something catches your eye. 🙂

Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett, The Enchanted Lies of Celeste Artois by Ryan Graudin, Charming Young Man by Eliot Schrefer, We Could Be So Good by Cat Sebastian, The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen by KJ Charles

The Mars House by Natasha Pulley, A Complicated Love Story Set in Space by Shaun David Hutchinson, The Mimicking of Known Successes by Malka Older, Ymir by Rich Larson, Shards of Earth by Adrian Tchaikovsky
There you have it! Ten books set in another time. Do you have any favorite books set in another time? Do you prefer books set in the past or the future? Let me know down in the comments!
There are several on here that I have not heard of before! Great list.
Thanks! 🙂
I’m curious about The Mars House.
I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it if you are into political sci fi with some romance.
Emily Wilde was so good – I can’t wait to read the next book.
I adored the entire series. I hope you love them!
I don’t read many books set in space, but A COMPLICATED LOVE STORY sounds like a fun one!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

It was a ton of fun! I hope your week is going well. 🙂
I love books set in the past! I used to be an avid historical fiction reader, and I think it might be time to explore that genre again.
Do it! It really is such a great genre. 🙂
Emily Wilde was my favorite book last year. I’m looking forward to the sequels.
I hope you love them! I adored the entire series.
