I’ve really enjoyed having a monthly TBR again so far this year. So, I’m back to make a new one for April. You can find what I hoped to read in March here, and I plan to do a wrap-up at some point in the near future. Be on the lookout for that… Without further ado, let’s dive into my April 2025 hopefuls!
I went back to six books for April because I need a breather after the Trope-ical Readathon. Six books is doable and will allow me plenty of flexibility. I’ve once again split the TBR into two parts: chosen books and categories with a range of potential hopefuls. April’s chosen books are a mix of April ARCs, including The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson & A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett, and some older releases I really want to read, including Red Rising by Pierce Brown & The Mask of Fear by Alexander Freed.
Book Box Pick
I still need to focus on reading the books I get in my monthly subscriptions. So, I chose once again to make a pick from recent book boxes one of my categories. Here are a few of the books that I am considering:

I still have three 2024 ARCs that I need to read. So, I hope to get to at least one of them this month…
The Gods Below by Andrea Stewart, Witch Queen of Redwinter by Ed McDonald, The Rules of Royalty by Cale Dietrich
Well. Those are my April 2025 hopefuls. I’d love to read everything listed on this page, but that is unlikely. If I make it through six of them, I’ll consider April to be a success! Do we have any hopefuls in common this month? Happy reading!
All I can say is that which 6 of these you decide to read, you are in for a great month of reading. I’ve read most of these and they were all brilliant. Definitely loved The Raven Scholar and A Drop of Corruption. Happy Reading!
It has definitely been a great month so far, and I’m hoping it continues. A Drop of Corruption was excellent, and I’m enjoying The Raven Scholar so far. I’m definitely looking forward to all the rest of these, too. 🙂
