The first of the month means that it is time for a new TBR! So, today I’m making a new one for June. I always love making lists, even if I’m not super consistent at following them. lol. Without further ado, let’s dive into my June 2025 hopefuls!
Recap of Last Month
I finished four of the six books on my TBR from last month. Apparently, I just wasn’t feeling The Mask of Fear for the second month in a row. I really wanted to get to Into the Light, though. I just ran out of time. Here’s hoping I can manage to finish the books I pick this month!
June 2025 Hopefuls
I’m sticking with six books for June. I’ve once again split the TBR into two parts: chosen books and categories with a range of potential hopefuls. June’s chosen books focus heavily again on Star Wars, including Into the Light by Claudia Gray (a holdover from last month’s TBR) and Trials of the Jedi by Charles Soule. The end of The High Republic series happens this month, and I’m so excited to see how it all works out. In addition to Star Wars books, I have so many ARCs to read this month. I’ve included three of them in these hopefuls (Palace of Illusions by Rowenna Miller, The Mercy Makers by Tessa Gratton, and The Lure of Their Graves by Laura R. Samotin).
Book Box Pick
I still need to focus on reading the books I get in my monthly subscriptions. So, I chose once again to make a pick from recent book boxes one of my categories. Here are a few of the books that I am considering:

Well. Those are my June 2025 hopefuls. I’d love to read everything listed on this page, but that is unlikely. If I make it through six of them, I’ll consider June to be a success! Do we have any hopefuls in common this month? Happy reading!
You definitely need to read The Mask of Mirrors. The Rook and the Rose is such a good trilogy.
I know! I want to read it, but the size always makes me put it off. I think I just need to go for it.

For what it’s worth, THE MASK OF MIRRORS is one of my favorite books.
I keep hearing that from so many people. I don’t know that I’ll get to it this month, but it is high on my list.
