This third week has been rough. I’ve been in somewhat of a reading slump and am now behind on my TBR. I only completed two challenges (Published Before 2000, There Be Dragons). I also started my book for the ‘Reread’ challenge, but I’ve decided to use it for the ‘Prophecy Trope’ challenge instead since it works well there and is much shorter than The Priory of the Orange Tree, which has now been bumped off my readathon TBR because of its chunkiness. I also read a little more of Blood Animus, which also counted toward my overall word count/points total even though it is not part of my TBR. So far, I’ve accumulated 4556 points since the readathon began. For this last full week of the readathon, I plan to finish my new ‘Prophecy Trope’ pick and read everything else except for my ‘eBook’ pick, which I will finish the readathon with next week. We’ll see if I can pull myself out of this slump to get it done…
Here is a list of what I read this week and its corresponding challenge:
Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban (Published Before 2000)
The Shadow of the Gods (There Be Dragons!!)
The Dark Is Rising (In progress; Prophecy Trope)
Blood Animus (In progress; No Challenge)
Are you participating in the readathon? If so, how much progress have you made this past week? Let me know in the comments!
Looks like you are doing great with this challenge! I never take part in things like this but it always looks like so much fun. Maybe one day I’ll give one a try! x
This is the first one I’ve done, and it has been fun so far. I don’t think I’m going to be able to finish my entire TBR for the month, but I’ve read a lot of great books I’ve been wanting to read for a while. The competition and reading with others has also added even more fun to the reading, for me at least. 🙂
