After my lack of love for volume 5, I thought I had enough of this series. Well. I was wrong. This volume was absolutely hilarious. It had the first two-part story yet, which I enjoyed a lot. In it, Tatsu had to work to get accepted into the women’s association, and he proves to all of them that he has what it takes to be the best homemaker around. The story about his friend’s fear of the dentist was super cute, and I think a lot of people will be able to relate to that trauma. Tatsu’s battle with insomnia was also super relatable and genuinely funny. I think that is where this volume succeeds. It is funny because the stories are incredibly relatable but also extremely over the top. So, despite being one extremely long note, this series continues milking that note in new, hilarious ways. And may the cat’s balls rest in peace. lol.
