Book Haul – November 2022

There were so many sales this month. So, this was not (entirely) my fault. You should all know by now that I have NO self control. Many of the ebooks I “bought” were either free or heavily discounted, and I couldn’t pass that up. Does it add to my ever-expanding TBR at an unsustainable rate? Of course, but I’ve given up on the illusion that I’ll ever read all the books I get. lol. Luckily, it was a pretty light NetGalley month because December is turning out to be the month of the eARCs so far. I got a few awesome physical ARCs from Orbit that I’m super excited about reading, as well. On the physical purchase front, I bought some signed books and special editions of things I’ve already purchased/read in the past along with a few new releases I’ve been looking forward to reading. The library haul was a bit light again last month because I had a ton of stuff to read already, especially ARCs. All in all, this was a truly stacked month of books I’m looking forward to (hopefully) reading soon.

Are any of these books on your TBR? Have you read any of them? If so, let me know in the comments!

  1. Wow, that is an amazing haul for sure.
I have The Song of Achilles still waiting on my TBR list, which is huge. And I shouldn’t have checked your post. I found way too many books which look way too interesting and I do have to check them out. So maybe some can move on my wishlist. 😁

  2. What a great haul. Melissa Caruso’s first trilogy that starts with The Tethered Mage is one of my all time favourite series. I just loved both the main characters and the setting. Hope you enjoy it too.

  3. Hey, we got the same physical ARCs from Orbit this month! They’re always so generous. I grabbed Slippery Creatures the other day, too, when it was free! IDK if you read We All Fall Down, but I enjoyed the story. There are, however, some pretty big racist problems with the characters in the book. I don’t think it means don’t READ the book, just be aware when going into it.

    • I love Orbit so much. They have always been super generous with both eARCs and physical copies, and Angela is the absolute best. I got Slippery Creatures when it was free too. lol. We All Fall Down was an impulse buy at Target based on the cover. I know nothing about it. I needed a third book for the Black Friday buy 2 get 1 free sale. I’m disappointed to see it has those problems, but I’ll still read it since I already have it.
