What did you read last?

It has been a couple of weeks since I’ve done an update. So, here’s everything I’ve finished reading since my last update on November 27:

Society of Lies by Lauren Ling Brown – 4.25⭐– I’m always on the lookout for new dark academia stories about secret societies. So, this was right up my alley. I liked how the story was split into three different timelines and two POVs. The murder mystery did drag at times, especially in the middle, and the ending felt a bit rushed and like it came out of nowhere. Overall, I enjoyed this one, though, and would definitely be interested in seeing what this author does next.

What are you currently reading?

The only thing I’m actively reading is one of my BBNYA books that I cannot talk about yet. The deadline for submitting scores is rapidly approaching, and I still have a lot left to read. So, that will probably make up the bulk of my reading for the next few days.

The Lotus Empire by Tasha Suri (23%) – Unfortunately, I’ve made no progress on this one since my last update.

Stranger Skies by Pascale Lacelle (8%) – I’ve made no progress on this one either. 🙁

What will you read next?

Who knows? lol. At the rate I’ve been going recently, I doubt I’ll get to anything new in the next week. I’d love to read these three, though.

Rebel Blade by Davinia Evans, Blood Over Bright Haven by M.L. Wang, The Gods Below by Andrea Stewart
