What did you read last?
I still haven’t been reading much because I’ve spent most of my time unpacking. However, I did manage to finish a few books this week, including two of my BBNYA allotments that I cannot discuss yet. Here’s a look at what I finished since December 11 that wasn’t for BBNYA:
The Wrong Lady Meets Lord Right by Suzanne Allain – 4⭐– I’ve really needed something short and super fluffy to offset my required reading for BBNYA. When this hold came in at the library, I knew it would be perfect. This had a pretty simple plot of two girls switching identities and falling in love with people outside of their regular station/class as a result. I enjoyed the story and the characters. If you like historical romance, I definitely recommend this one.
What are you currently reading?
The Lotus Empire by Tasha Suri (23%) – I am chomping at the bit to get back into this one now that my reading for BBNYA is over. Hopefully, I can manage to understand what is going on without starting it over. It has been so long since I’ve picked it up.
Stranger Skies by Pascale Lacelle (8%) – I actually just pulled this one out of a box today! So, I expect that I’ll finally make progress on this one in the coming week, too.
What will you read next?
Who knows? lol. If I manage to finish the two books I’ve already got going, I kind of want to read a Christmas story. I’m way overdue on reading my ARC of The Merriest Misters. So, it seems like the logical choice for my next read. We’ll see.

Hope the unpacking has been going well 🙂 The Wrong Lady Meets Lord Right sounds like a fun histrom and I just realised that I’ve had my eye on a few of the author’s backlist (especially Mr. Malcolm’s List) so I might as well chuck this one on my TBR watchlist too, lol. I hope you continue enjoying all your reads!
Thanks, Dini. We are slowly getting settled into the new place. Trying to decide where I want to put things is a special level of hell that I wasn’t expecting. lol. I just keep reminding myself that I can move stuff later if I want.

Good luck with picking up all of the threads in Lotus Empire. I’m waiting until I can read all three of them together as I haven’t read the second one yet so I might as well wait a bit longer. Hope that you’re settling in and the unpacking doesn’t take too long.

We are settling in. I really like it here so far. I’m just ready to have everything out of boxes because trying to find things right now is a bit of a nightmare.
