It’s a new month! That means it is time to share a new TBR. Without further ado, let’s dive into my April 2026 hopefuls and a brief recap of my reading from last month!
Recap of Last Month
What?! I actually finished all of my priority reads in March?! Yep. š It was down to the wire, but I did manage to finish all six books before the end of the day yesterday. As a reminder, here were my priority reads for last month, along with my rating for them:
- No Man’s Land by Richard K. Morgan (4ā)
- The Witch Without Memory by Maithree Wijesekara (3ā)
- The Fox and the Devil by Kiersten White (3.5ā)
- Role Model by Rachel Reid (5ā)
- To Ride a Rising Storm by Moniquill Blackgoose (3ā)
- Three Shattered Souls by Mai Corland (3.75ā)

I also finished quite a few other books in March for a total of 14 books, 5003 pages, and an average rating of 3.98 stars. It was yet another very gay month for me, and MM romance was hitting hard for me as the top-read and top-rated genre for the month. Here’s a quick look at everything I read along with some stats from StoryGraph:

April 2026 Priority Hopefuls

I’m sticking with six books again for the priority reads in April. Three of them are April ARCs, Honor & Heresy by Max Francis, Year of the Mer by L. D. Lewis, & An Arcane Study of Stars by Sydney J. Shields. I’m rounding out my priority reads with a buddy read with Dini of Faithbreaker by Hannah Kaner in addition to some new/recent releases, Infinite Shores by Pascale Lacelle (another trilogy finale! yay!) and The Somewhat Wicked Witch of Brigandale by C.M. Waggoner.
Other April 2026 Hopefuls
I finished one of my Other Hopefuls from March, which made me happy because these extras in my TBR often get pushed to the side. I have so many April ARCs that I needed to add two of them here. Hopefully, I can manage to get to them this month. With that in mind, here are some other April hopefuls:

Deathly Fates by Tesia Tsai, After Hours at Dooryard Books by Cat Sebastian, Apparently, Sir Cameron Needs to Die by Greer Stothers, A Murder Most Camp by Nicolas DiDomizio
Well. Those are my April 2026 hopefuls. I’d love to read everything listed on this page, but that is unlikely. If I make it through six of them, I’ll consider April to be a success! Do we have any hopefuls in common this month? Happy reading!
