Hello, everyone! Today I’m reviewing Hazelthorn by CG Drews. I was obsessed with Drews’ last release, Don’t Let the Forest In, and was so excited to get an early digital copy of their new book. Did Hazelthorn live up to my lofty expectations? Read on to find out!
It is time again to look forward to another month of book releases. I thought November was going to be a slow month for releases because I only have two ARCs. I was super wrong. lol. It’s a busy month, especially for sequels. So many of these are actually sequels of books on my shelves that I haven’t read yet. Oh well. At least I won’t have a long wait between the books. 🙂 If you missed my post about October’s releases, be sure to check it out here! Without further ado, here are 20 of my most anticipated November 2025 book releases (covers link to Goodreads):
I’ve been a bit distracted recently, which is why I haven’t been quite as active on the blog. My wife and I rescued three abandoned 3-week-old kittens. We’d been feeding their mom, a stray, for a while, and then she had her babies in our front flower bed. She was taking good care of the little ones until she disappeared. We had to remove some planks from our deck to get to them. She’d moved them under there for safety I presume.
It’s been a long four weeks of bottle feeding and doing everything we could to keep them comfortable. Thankfully, they are weaned now and eating wet food voraciously. Lol. So, I might get just a bit of my life back.
We weren’t sure if we were going to keep them, but I just can’t let them go. This means we now have FIVE cats. 🙀 Anyway, here is a photo dump of pics of the babies. The orange one is Pumpkin. The tabby/marble one is Spice. The black one is Latte. They love to play and explore. Pumpkin, especially, is an outright menace.
Hello, everyone! Today I’m excited to be reviewing Redneck Revenant by David R. Slayton, a new novel in the Adam Binder series. Read on to see all of my thoughts but beware of potential spoilers for the previous novels set in this universe.
Hello, everyone! It’s Wednesday! That means it is time for another WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words. I’ll be answering the following questions:
Hello, everyone! Today I’m reviewing a VERY long overdue ARC, All Souls Lost by Dan Moren. It’s so long overdue that I decided to borrow the audiobook for my Amazon music monthly pick to give the book/author a little extra support and help me get it reviewed ASAP. So, I’ll be reviewing the audiobook rather than the eARC I received via NetGalley. I honestly don’t even remember why I requested this title, but I enjoy paranormal/urban fantasy mysteries and was excited to finally pick this one up.
Hello, everyone! It has been quite longer than usual since my last post. I just haven’t much been in the mood for blogging. Most of my time has been spent on my pets, including three new 6-week-old kittens, and harvesting and processing vegetables from my garden. I hope to be a little more present on the blog in the coming week, though, because I’ve got a few reviews to get caught up on. The first review is for All of Us Murderers by KJ Charles, which was just published on Tuesday. I’m a huge fan of Charles. So, I was super excited to pick this one up!
A new month means that it is time for a new TBR! So, today I’m making a new one for October. Without further ado, let’s dive into my October 2025 hopefuls and a brief recap of how I did with last month’s TBR!
