How is it already the end of June?! For this last day of Pride month, I wanted to do something to celebrate before the month is over. I found this tag created by Common Spence on Youtube a couple years ago and thought it would be fun to re-visit it to update my answers. You can find my first attempt at this tag here. First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?

  • Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page
  • Copy the first few lines, but don’t give anything else about the book away just yet – you need to hook the reader first
  • Finally… reveal the book!

Hello, everyone! Today is my stop on the blog tour for Savage Crowns by Matt Wallace. I’m excited to spotlight this recent fantasy release and the entire series.
