The Immortal Dragon, once the fiercest member of the yakuza, is now a married man devoted to supporting his loving wife—as a househusband! But when the gangster-turned-homemaker needs to make some quick cash to buy her a present, he turns to the only skills he knows…and gets his first part-time job! The cozy yakuza comedy continues!
There were some really funny moments in this volume. The reactions to the roach invader, and the ensuing battle, were hilarious. I also loved Tatsu dressing up like Santa and him getting his first legit part-time job. The premise of this manga is so simple, but I really believe that is part of the reason why it is so funny. It has begun to get a bit repetitive, though, and I didn’t find this volume quite as delightful as the first two. I’m hoping for more of the cat in the next volume. 😸 Overall, I enjoyed the quick read and rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

[…] Manga Monday: Way of the Househusband Vol 3 – This post details my thoughts about the third volume of this manga series. I enjoyed it but also wonder how much longer than can continue the same gag without it becoming boring. […]
