Along with being a new year, it is also a new month, which means it is time for a new TBR. I forgot to include my Reindeer Readathon results in my wrap-up post yesterday. So, I’ll include them here before moving on to the new TBR. I finished each of the prompts, but I swapped books liberally. lol. Much of the original TBR didn’t get read. Here’s what did:
How is it already the last month of the year?! Time sure does fly. For the next 31 days, I’ll be scrambling to finish some of my annual goals, as well as my BBNYA finalist books. I’m also going to be participating in the Reindeer Readathon again. I loved doing this one last year and have been looking forward to it for the last couple of months.
Hello, everyone! Today I’m sharing my hopefuls for the month of November. I’ve got quite a few ARCs of books releasing this month, and I’m also going to try to catch up on some overdue ARCs from the last couple months that I didn’t get to read yet. I also plan to work on some of my larger 2022 goals by continuing a couple of series I want to finish before the end of the year. I can’t believe 2022 will already be over next month. This year has just flown by. I’m sure there will be some mood reading as well, and at some point I need to fit in my BBNYA finalists… The list goes on and on, but I’ll consider it a successful month if I can manage to make it through these 10 books:
Hello, everyone! I don’t have very many ARCs this month. So, I’m going to try to catch up on the ones where I missed the release date and then get a head start on some of November’s releases. I’ll also be doing a bit of mood reading beyond these selections. I just got a ton of new audiobooks from the Audible sale last month, and I’m dying to get to some of them. I’ve also got some library books that aren’t listed here. So, stay tuned to see what they are when I get to them over the next couple weeks. š I hope you all have a great month and are enjoying the start of spooky season!
Hello, everyone! This is going to be another busy month. I’ve got lots of ARCs to read, including some I didn’t get to last month, and I’m participating in a read-a-long for the first time. I decided to skip participating in this month’s Mythothon round because I’m a bit burnt out on readathons after the two I did last month. I will (hopefully) be posting a wrap-up for them tomorrow, and I’m excited to say I did really well in both of them. I’m hoping to keep the momentum going through September because I have a lot of great stuff to read, and this TBR barely scratches the surface…
This is going to be a REALLY busy month! There are so many book releases happening, and I have so many ARCs to get through. On top of that, I’ve decided to participate in two readathons this month. I’m beginning to think I just like torturing myself with stress. It has been a couple of months since I’ve had a super structured TBR. So, I’m not sure how this is going to go after doing so much mood reading in June and July.
How is the year already halfway over? Seriously. This month I plan to continue mood reading. That didn’t happen quite as much last month as I hoped it would because I ended up having a ton of library holds show up all at once that I wasn’t expecting so soon. I don’t have that many ARCs to read for July, but I am going to try to get a start on some of the ones for August this month because there are SO MANY OF THEM. August is really going to be a super busy month for book releases. I also still have a few library books left to read. So, the plan for this month is going to be similar to last month… mood reading while also trying to finish up some obligations.

These are some of the books that I’ve been dying to get to but haven’t had the chance to read yet. If the mood is right, I’m hoping to get to them this month. This is the no pressure section, though. So, don’t be too surprised if I don’t get to them. They’re just the most likely mood reading picks.
Are any of these books on your TBR? Have you already read them? If so, what did you think? Let me know down in the comments!
Hello, everyone! Happy Pride month! Last year for Pride I only read and reviewed books with queer main characters or authors. Most of the books I read this month will follow suit. However, I’m also going to have a few reads that don’t fit that trend due to ARC obligations. Luckily, most of what I read is very queer anyway, and I’m a huge supporter (and reader) of queer books year round. So, I don’t feel super obligated this year to stick to as rigid of a structure as I did last year when I was fairly new to blogging and also relatively new to reading books with queer characters. The last year and a half of exploring a lot of queer characters and their stories has been a wonderful way for me to engage with that aspect of my identity and learn about myself in a new way. I’m looking forward to continuing to read amazing queer stories, this month and all the months to come.
I started this month with the intention to mostly mood read. The last several months I’ve done a ton of readathons, and I’m a bit burned out on having such a strictly set reading list. I have a few ARCs I need to get to, but beyond that my intention was to just read stuff from my shelves that caught my eye at whatever pace felt right. The library had other plans. lol. I had three holds become available yesterday. So, I’ll be reading those books first followed by the ARCs. Then I plan to switch into full on mood reading mode with the time that is left.

Hello, everyone! Happy Star Wars Day! In honor of the day, today’s post is my TBR for May, which centers around the May the Force Read with You Readathon created by Breakeven Books. I was so excited to find this readathon because I wanted to do something Star Wars related this month. I’ve chosen to walk the path to the dark side, which has five levels. To become a Dark Lord of the Sith, I need to develop five force abilities (AKA read five books). Along the way I plan to build my team of allies and my weapons collection by reading even more books. This TBR is a mix of ARCs I really need to get to and books that have been on previous TBRs, along with a couple recent releases. I’m behind on ARCs for the first time, and it’s making me anxious. So, I’m going to try to get caught up on everything this month… I’m also looking forward to finally (hopefully) getting to Little Thieves and Victory’s Price since I’ve been wanting to read them since last year.
If you are interested in learning more about the readathon and the prompts, I’ve embedded the announcement video below. There is also a pdf of the different prompts available in the video description on Youtube.
Hello, everyone! I’ve been really struggling the last few days to pick what I want to read next. I’ve been so excited about these two readathons for a while, and now that they are here I’m kind of in a slump, which has me bummed. I’ve finally settled on some choices, but I think many of these will likely change as the month progresses. I’m really in the mood to mood read, but I’m going to try to stick to these as closely as I can because they are mostly ARCs/tour obligations. (Edit note: The first two books I’ve started for this month since initially writing this post are not on these lists. lol. So, I’m off to a great start…)
I’m participating in two readathons this month, Magical Readathon and Mythothon. You can find my picks for each down below along with a little more info about each readathon!
